A HOME FOR ALL

Salvation Army

This mural was a solo project completed by the Founder that inspired him to create Color for a Cause. The mural was painted in the central recreational room for residents at the Salvation Army of Wake County located in Raleigh, NC. The countless houses spread through the valley symbolize both the hope that all residents will have their own homes in the future and the sense of community fostered by the Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army of Wake County is part of the larger Salvation Army organization, which provides a wide range of services aimed at helping individuals and families in need. The Wake County branch serves as an emergency shelter, daily providing temporary housing and food for hundreds of men, women, and children who are homeless or in crisis. The organization also provides transitional housing, food pantries, community meals, emergency financial assistance, youth programs, senior services, and substance abuse and rehabilitation services.
